Chubby Cheeks

When I was young as a toddler, I used to listen to the song "Chubby Cheeks". But I used to think, this rhyme finishes so quickly. I wished this rhyme could go longer. This idea made me to write the age old famous rhyme in a lengthy manner and cherish to enjoy for a longer time than usual. I enjoy even now as the same child longing for the same.

Picnic

A picnic we planned 

during my pregnancy;

It was a moment I cherish

and hold with ecstasy;

A long ride in the bus

Never made me fuss;

The monsoon and the rains

didn't stop my plans;

I walked all the steps

to the mount of talacauvery*;

I never saw a morning

so beautiful that early;

Fluffy clouds and drizzling rain

Made me happy once again;

I took a deep rest

within the womb of Nature's best;

It is the place where the Cauvery river originates and flows in Coorg, India*

Secrecy

Rays of the Majestic sun

Traversed the day and done

Beetles, Bunnies and Butterflies

Talk the secrecy code to the skies;

The warmth of the daylight;

The chillness of the breeze;

The power of the moon;

The effect of the rain;

All stood together to maintain

the right weather to gain;

If the nature could hear whispers

and make a world without tears;

I believe the human beings,

Can bring a lot more meaning;

To respect each other's feelings;

A Poem from the Beach

We went to a Beach on a pleasant Sunday evening. The soccer players were on their toes engrossed in play. The beach sand was so soothing for the legs. We decided to sit and watch the eternal beauty of nature. The kids enjoyed playing the sand.  It was almost evening 6 PM and i told my elder son, " Look at the blue sky. What do you see" and he immediately composed with a poem and he wrote the below.

What a wonderful sky,

Which people always pass by,
You have wonderful stars,
Which are more beautiful than Mars,

Everyone likes you ,
And no one will argue,

You are very fresh and blue,

Which has not at all any goo.

We enjoyed reading the same. The child's mind is very inquisitive. If we keep intriguing with thoughts, they can be very active and creative at times. They will come up with magical concepts of life and enthrall us.
