Republic day ...

Today is Republic Day,
A day to enjoy and away from dismay,
I ponder my thoughts on the Historians,
Who made this country with Victorians.

Reading the history gives me thrill,
Making a history is my will,
All the glory is only reminded for a day,
Carrying the legacy forward is my wish for everyday.
